Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance

X8 will pay 100% of Base Plan for employee coverage and 80% for dependents for the same Base Plan. Additionally, X8 will pay 100% of Dental and Vision for employee coverage.

401K Retirement with Employer Match

X8 will make a matching contribution of 4% of the employee’s salary per payroll. Additionally, X8 will also provide a discretionary contribution at years end of 6% of their annual salary for a total of 10%.

Education and Certification Reimbursement Program

$5,000 annual reimbursement for continuing education (accredited college courses, professional development conferences and career related certifications).

Referral Bonus Program

Up to $10,000 referral bonus for a technically qualified referral hired by X8.

Annual Retention Bonus

Up to 5% of Annual Salary.

Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability Insurance

X8 will pay up to $100,000 of base salary for full time employees.

Employees are eligible to enroll in the 401K Retirement Plan the first of the month following their hire date. X8 will make a Safe Harbor matching contribution of 4% of the employee’s salary. X8 also provides a discretionary contribution at year’s end to enrolled employees of up to 6% of their annual salary.

X8 covers 1x employee annual base salary, up to $100,000, for Basic Life insurance. Voluntary Life Insurance is available up to an additional $200,000 of coverage. X8 covers the cost of Short-Term Disability insurance and benefited employees have the option to purchase Long-Term Disability insurance.

X8 believes in supporting the individual growth of its employees. The annual reimbursement limit of $5,000 (calendar year) is provided to full time employees. This may be used towards career related certifications, accredited college educations or professional development conferences that are related to the employee’s career field and X8 business offerings.

X8 SkillBridge Program

SkillBridge Internships with X8 are designed to enhance the existing knowledge, skills, and experience a transitioning military member possesses. Our approach exposes the intern to ongoing development projects, design reviews, program management, industry standards, user interaction, and critical thinking tasks to meet their training objectives. X8 SkillBridge mentors develop a training plan and help guide the intern through the program to completion. Our goal is to extend employment after successful completion of the SkillBridge Program.

X8 SkillBridge Tour Length

X8 SkillBridge internships last anywhere from 30 to 180 days. The longer the applicant participates, the more they will benefit from the transition assistance into civilian life. However, we understand every service member's situation is different and thus offer flexibility.

X8 is looking for a well-rounded administrator with experience working in the DoD environment to manage corporate administrative functions. The selectee will help shape a supportive and inclusive corporate culture by defining, instituting and streamlining corporate processes that attract and retain the talent that defines the X8 brand.

Cyber Operations Internships
Current Applicant Criteria

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Seasoned Cyber Security Professionals (5+ years) with a strong background in Computer Network Operations as an Operator, Analyst, Developer, Infrastructure Operator, Security Operations Center Analyst, or Cyber Planner
  • Hands-on experience in Cyber Operations. (e.g. defensive, offensive, analysis, data transportation and/or development)
  • Applicants must first check with their respective Service for eligibility, the Service-specific application process, timelines, etc. for the DoD SkillBridge Program before applying for an X8 SkillBridge internship

X8 Business Operations Internship
Current Applicant Criteria

  • Secret Clearance or (Secret Clearable through Background investigation)
  • At least four years experience working in the DoD environment
  • Possess excellent management practices, anticipate internal organization issues, propose smart solutions, and represent the employee perspective.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical leaders.
  • Track record of identifying and analyzing key processes and working with a high degree of autonomy.
  • High school diploma. (Secondary education preferred)
